COACHING: THE PROCESS

 

Especially in ADHD coaching, keeping things uncomplicated and pressure-free is key. Many of my clients are overwhelmed by time constraints as it is - and some live outside Toronto (my home-base). Coaching by PHONE or SKYPE is ideal in these cases. In certain situations we may meet in person at my offices.  

 

During our first chat, we discuss what's troubling you at this juncture in your life.  If we decide we're a good fit, we will work together to figure out an approach to your problem(s) - one that feels manageable for you. I never impose goals upon you or pressure you to make decisions. Here are just some of the ways I can help you:

  • identify strengths and use them to overcome barriers to achieving goals and living your dreams

  • successfully handle challenges in relationships at home, work, school or in social settings

  • address unreasonable constraints others place upon you and alleviate pressure this can cause

  • ensure you are taking care of yourself while enjoying the benefits of helping others with ADHD

  • cope with and manage emotional issues such as frustration, worry,  anxiety and grief

  • advocate on your behalf in situations where you are being treated unfairly or misunderstood

  • connect you to other experts, services and resources that will increase your support system
